Community Voice, Community Choice

 

Community Voice, Community Choice Blaenau Gwent – Participatory Budgeting Application

Any application must comply with the following criteria (these have been decided by the Community Planning Group consisting of residents of Blaenau Gwent County Borough area, local councillors/Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council staff, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board staff):

    1. The maximum amount that you can apply for is £10,000.
    2. You can make multiple applications (using separate forms) up to the total value of £10,000. Each individual application must be separate and distinctly different from other applications submitted.
    3. Your organisation can be any size, but your application must be for the benefit of the Blaenau Gwent community and not your organisation.
    4. Applications will be accepted from both constituted and non constituted groups. If you are a non-constituted group, you must have a sponsor/support partner that is constituted, and willing to hold your funding in a ring-fenced account.
    5. Applications are welcome from anyone, however, if you are under the age of 18 a responsible adult must complete your application on your behalf.
    6. Applications  will be welcomed from any not for profit organisation (this is an organisation where profits are ploughed back into the organisation/community rather than to directors or shareholders)
    7. Applications are welcome from outside the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council area, providing the application is for the benefit of those within the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council area.

If your application meets the above criteria, you will be invited to submit a three-minute film that will be shown at the voting event on Sunday 26th September 2021, 11-1pm.
