Group: People Facing Socio-economic Disadvantage. Themes: Mental Health and Wellbeing and Building Resilience
Our project aims to benefit all the groups outlined, RE:MAKE truly is a project for all communities of Newport. It also addresses all the themes: Information and access- we aim to inform the public of ways to repair and resuse and upskill. Back to life – we are regenerating the high street with a community led project. Mental Health and Wellbeing – we are increasing levels of wellbeing though skill sharing and providing meaningful opportunities for local people. Building resilience and community cohesion – we provide a safe and non judgemental space for the community to come together and get to know one another, creating cohesion and resilience.
