How we can help

Over the last 15 years we’ve helped communities and institutions to:

  • Decide how millions of pounds of public money should be invested through participatory budgeting
  • Shape local transport futures through citizens’ assemblies’ rooted in fairness and pragmatism
  • Co-design community hubs that blend public services with community-led activity
  • Build stronger relationships between residents and neighbourhood policing teams

Each of these projects was built on the same belief that underpins Pride in Place: when communities have a genuine say, everyone benefits.

Places shot of table

We help establish and strengthen boards that are inclusive, representative and transparent. By creating the conditions for positive dialogue and fair decision-making, we ensure local people genuinely shape the future of their neighbourhoods.

Communities are full of energy, ideas and solutions. We design and facilitate creative, inclusive processes that bring people together, making decisions in structured, positive ways that everyone can trust.

3. Building Capacity and Confidence

Through our accredited Award in Building Social Capital and bespoke coaching, we help residents, officers and partners develop the skills they need to share power, collaborate and deliver change sustainably.

4. Demonstrating Impact

We measure what matters: trust, connection and social capital. As an independent learning partner, we help communities and councils tell the story of their journey, showing the impact of Pride in Place investments.
